Playing the FOOTBALL@HOME Board Game

Game instructions: Number of players: 1 - 6, 6 years old and up. Game contains 1x boards, 6x figurines, 1 dice, access to 18x on-line videos, Rules.

The object of the game: The object is to be the first player to reach the end by moving across the board from square one to the final square. You move left to right across first row, then move up to the second and move right to left, and so on. Follow the numbers on the board to see how to move forward. For example, if you rolled a five and you were on space number 11, then you would move your game piece to space number 16.

Decide who goes first: Each player should roll one dice to see who gets the highest number. Whoever rolls the highest number gets to take the first turn. After the first player takes a turn, the person sitting to that player’s left will take a turn. Play continues in a circle going left. If two or more people roll the same number, and it is the highest number rolled, each of those people roll the dice an additional time to see who gets to go first.

Roll the dice and move: To take your turn, roll the dice again and read the number that you rolled. Pick up your game piece and move forward that number of spaces. For example, if you roll a two, move your piece to square two. On your next turn, if you roll a five, move your piece forward five squares, ending up on square seven.

If you roll a six: If you roll a six, then you will not get an extra turn.

Coerver® soccer skills training: There are 18 special spaces included on the game board. Every such space represents a challenge for you. You will practice ball mastery exercises or 1 vs. 1 as well. The ball mastery exercise will be practiced by left and right foot, 5 repetitions each foot. The 1 vs. 1 game you will practice 2x to the left side and 2x to the right every time. Just for fun: Try to juggle with the ball three times in a row or show an original celebration of your success. Celebrate as if you score a goal. You must practice this too.

Goaaal: The arrows on the game board allow you to move upwards and get ahead faster. If you land exactly on a square that shows an image of the arrow and the sign Goaaal, then you may move your game piece all the way up to the square, where the arrow ends.

Yellow or red card: There are also yellow and red cards on the game board. You must follow the arrow here and move your piece where the arrow ends. It’s the same as a when you are playing in a match and your opposition is on the attack, you have to hurry back and defend!

Land exactly on the last square to win: The first person to reach the highest square on the board wins. This is square 30. You can only win by rolling the exact number needed to land on the last square. For example, if you are on square 28 and roll a four, you must stay on the same space. The next player continues the game and you must wait until your next turn.
